Oceana Grill on Conti Street: a brick French Quarter building with iron balconies, hanging ferns and the Oceana sign over the door

Our story

A French Quarter restaurant, at the center of it all

On the corner of Bourbon and Conti, Oceana Grill has been feeding visitors, locals and the occasional celebrity Creole cooking and Gulf seafood from morning until 1 AM.

Where we are

Steps off Bourbon, in the heart of the Quarter

Tripadvisor ranks Oceana Grill #9 in the nation for everyday dining, among its Top 10 Restaurants in the U.S. You’ll find us at 739 Conti Street, on the corner of Bourbon and Conti, surrounded by the music clubs, balconies and nightlife that make the French Quarter famous. Our brick building with its iron galleries and hanging ferns is the kind of place you remember from a first trip to New Orleans, and the kind locals keep coming back to.

We are open every day from 8 AM to 1 AM: breakfast before a morning of sightseeing, a long lunch out of the sun, or dinner after the music starts. If you can’t come to us, we’ll come to you, with pickup and delivery across the French Quarter.

What we cook

Cajun & Creole cooking, Gulf seafood first

Our menu covers the dishes people come to New Orleans for. Start with Louisiana crabmeat cakes under crawfish mushroom cream, a bowl of gumbo or fresh oysters on the half shell. For a main course there’s Redfish Oceana, our signature dish, along with barbecued shrimp, crawfish étouffée, Shrimp Creole, red beans and rice and fried seafood platters.

Prefer something handheld? Our po-boys come fried or blackened. Can’t decide? The Taste of New Orleans plate puts jambalaya, étouffée and red beans on one plate. Save room for bread pudding with rum sauce.

Open 8 AM – 1 AM daily

Breakfast, lunch and late-night dinner

Breakfast runs 8 AM to 1 PM, lunch 10 AM to 4 PM and dinner 4 PM to 1 AM, so there’s a table for you whenever the Quarter gets you hungry.
